Our history

Our history began in the heart of Calolziocorte starting in the 1920s at the production site in Via Montello.
In the 1970s steady growth necessitated the expansion of production until we moved to our current location in Via San Rocco. A further production boom led us to transfer the production of a certain type of chains to Serbia in 2015. Thanks to the dedication and ambition of our family, we have led Rosa Catene to establish itself as a leader in the industry with the goal of achieving ever greater goals.

Founded as a manufacturer of chains and saddles for cycles and motorcycles, in 1945 we specialized in the production of transmission chains and agricultural chains until the present day where we are recognized as a leading manufacturer of heavy-duty transport chains and special chains according to customer drawings. Our vision has led us, from then until today, to pursue higher and higher quality standards, combining our experience and know-how with continuous innovation in order to ensure ever greater safety for our employees. It is in this way that our industrial reality has become a point of reference for the Calolziocorte community.

Our pillars of strength have always been people. First of all our founder Giuseppe Rosa together with his son Rosa Giovanni, who were torn from life and their beloved family too early and unjustly. Then their children Riccardo and Noemi continued the family business by honoring their father and brother, and later Mr. Riccardo with his keen business sense brought Rosa Catene to be recognized and appreciated all over the world. The third generation represented by Riccardo's sons, Giuseppe and Gianluigi, has been able to give continuity to our company increasing more and more the production and export of our products that have become an expression of reliability and quality for all major manufacturers of industrial equipment.
As of 2017, it is the fourth generation that actively joins the future of Rosa Catene with Eleonora and Riccardo with the hope and wish for many new generations to come.
